BASE LAYER INSTALLATION

Base Layer: Apply a layer of base material (crushed stone or asphalt base) and compact it to create a solid and stable foundation for the top asphalt layers.

ASPHALT INSTALLATION

  • First Asphalt Layer (Binder Course): Lay the first layer of asphalt, known as the binder course, which provides structural strength. Compact this layer thoroughly.

  • Top Asphalt Layer (Surface Course): Lay the top layer of asphalt, known as the surface course. This layer provides a smooth, durable, and weather-resistant surface. Compact this layer as well.

  • Edging: Install curbs or other edging materials as needed.

  • Striping and Markings: Paint lines for parking spaces, arrows, and other necessary markings. Add any signage required for traffic management.
